French Police Recover 2,000 Year Old Bracelet French police have successfully retrieved a 2,000 year old bracelet that was stolen from a Romanian site where archeologists recovered it from. The treasure weighs 2.2 pounds, is 24 karat gold and is valued at approximately $114,000. The bracelet is believed to be one of the 15 that was stolen from the archeological site six years ago. It belonged to the Roman-Dacian Empire that was conquered by Rome 2,000 years ago.
