Finally! Real Sex in Theaters The film has stirred up some controversy for its portrayal of actual sex on film, opposed to the simulated sex acts used in major motion pictures. The film is unrated and is set to hit 40 U.S. markets this fall with a limited release in New York, Los Angeles and then San Fransico first. Shortbus will play in mostly Landmark-owned cinemas.
