Fantasia's Book a Fantasy? Barrino's father is suing publisher Simon & Schuster over (while sounding a bit like Seinfeld's Jackie Chiles, the attorney, I might add) "false, exaggerated, sensational, intentional, malicious untruths." He's arguing that parts of the book, like when he asked his daughter for money, are fabrications. He's not the only one angry over the book. The ghost writer Kim Green is demanding recognition for her contribution. I don't know why, but she is. Fox, the network which carries the TV show American Idol, was angry about a scene in Fantasia's biopic (based on the book) which aired on Lifetime last month. They called a scene where she was encouraged to drop out of the show due to her past a complete lie. To see what all the hub-bub is about, read for it for yourself.
