The "Cut and Run" Party As in 2004, the election is up to the opposition to lose. A lack of a unified voice, and a lack of a coherent party platform, has made the Democratic opposition seem feeble and disorderly. It is always easy to criticize, but it takes real nerve to stick to a phrase that was declared "dead" in June. I don't think I can remember the last time a Democrat did that.
