Cincy gets "Revenge" on Pitt? Does anyone truly believe a comparatively meaningless regular season game is equal to a game that featured the eventual Super Bowl Champions? It is sort of assumed by many people that had Cincy defeated the Steelers they might have won the Super Bowl. The game today is week three of the season and at the end of the year will be just one W or L out of 16 such. It might give a slight edge to one team or the other in seeding in the playoffs but it is hardly equal in importance to winning or losing a loser goes home game. Until regular season games come with the monetary benefit of playoff shares and the prestige of being league champions these sort of headlines will continue to be ridiculous.
