Catching up with blogs and websites... Every once in awhile, when I feel behind on my reading/blogging, I put together a post like this, compiling all the things that have caught my eye in the past day or so. This is what I missed yesterday while I was in class... I hope you enjoy! "...And with three of us we watch soaps on TV" Hilarious song/video from Dutch TV of a young boy singing of his two fathers ("who, if they have to, both can be [his] mother"). RCB posted this to get comments on "the direction many within Western society want to take us" - which is valid - but I prefer to watch it for the sheer sake of hilarity. I made all my roommates and Jared watch the video when I found it tonight, and I'm going to get this around campus in the next few days. I'm stepping back from analysis for a bit to laugh my rear-end off. Brew Ha Ha A letter to the editor in the Post-Dispatch, this woman cuts right to the chase: "The new town could be called Brew Ha Ha. That way the joke wouldn’t be only on the taxpayers." You won't be excommunicated for sketching the pope. For a giggle. Sad, but true. No updates in a month? Not a good sign. John makes a great point: "The Talent campaign blog provided a recap of the senator’s appearance at the Greentree Festival in Kirkwood. The McCaskill blog hasn’t been updated this month." How can Forest Park be saved? With some pens, perhaps. I found this on Political Fix last night. I signed this very petition when I was volunteering at a polling place for the August primary. Long live the park! Right-wing funny man coming to town! (H/T to Rob) Mmm... Any of my CUA friends want in on this next week? Half-price tickets! Dude! And in other news, why can't CUA have as much money as GW to pay for these kind of events? Sad day. St. Louis Police Officers' Association endorses Talent Good things are brewing for Talent. I am feeling more and more confident every day. Visit http://katiefavazza.townhall.com for more!
