California Sues Carmakers In a lawsuit that is being unfairly compared to such landmark cases as when tobacco and fast food was sued for causing poor health in people, the citizens of California has stood up and the state has filed a law suit against car makers General Motors, Toyota, Ford, Honda, Chrysler and Nissan for their role in the global warming epidemic. While the suit does not specify a specific monetary amount it is requesting for damages, if the suit is won by the state the final amount could go into the hundreds of million which would almost surely bankrupt already struggling car giants Ford and General Motors. Naturally the final irony of this story is that if there is any one place in the country that sparked the Blogger News Network is advertiser-supported, and your visits to our advertisers help BNN to meet its expenses.
