Booming Indian Medical Tourism Industry slammed by US workers According to the USW President Leo Gerard, "no US citizen should be exposed to the risks involved in travelling internationally for health care services." However, Mr. Gerard conveniently omitted to mention the fact that the same medical procedures in India cost a tenth in India of what it costs in the US. And what about the 45 million plus uninsured Americans, who are exploring the option of inexpensive foreign healthcare due to the broken system in US. Some food for thought, Mr. Gerard!
