At Least 5 Injured In Overpass Collapse

At least five people were injured, three of them critically, when part of an overpass collapsed in the small town of Laval, Quebec (8 miles northwest of Montreal). Emergency crews had been receiving calls from concerned drivers who said that parts of the overpass were falling but when the overpass collapsed partially; 8-10 fire trucks were dispatched to the scene. Among the critically injured was a man on a motorcycle who fell off the overpass during the collapse and suffered head injuries.
