Anesthesia OD Cause Of 5 Year Old's Death A triple dose of anesthesia is the cause of death being cited in the death of a 5 year old Diamond Brownridge. The young girl was taken to Little Angel Dental for routine dental work but after the procedure the girl never woke up. She was taken to the hospital where she laid in life support for four days before passing peacefully on Wednesday. The dentist, Dr. Hicham K. Riba, has expressed deep sadness over the incident and has had to move his family out of their home because of death threats and has also been unable to return to work due to threats being made at his clinic including a bomb threat and one caller who “threatened to come in and shoot up the office”. The biggest questions that are surrounding the death are coming from the statements from family members and staff members that all say Diamond received three different kinds of anesthesia - an oral agent, an intravenous drug and nitrous oxide gas. Both sides have already retained a lawyer but no lawsuits have been filed as of September 28th.
