And the Torture Continues... One thing that bothers me about these "alternative coercive interrogation techniques" is that no one seems to talk about what exactly they are. This is a spin tactic all its own created to get the American public to think that this isn't torture, but really just interrogation methods. Just for the record: waterboarding is torture. The President needs to stop tarnishing the name of the American people, tarnishing our history, and bringing us down to the same level as the terrorists we are supposedly superior to. By: R. I see one thing missing in the post above, as is the case with most opinions of this type, an effective, alternate, method of interrogation [key word being 'effective']. Would it be the "Please... pretty please" avenue to gathering information, or should interrogation be outlawed altogether?
To dust off a tired old saying that applies more and more today, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.
