Wonder if she thinks he was worth it now?

Not the brightest gal

Two Washington County (Oregon) sheriff's deputies knocked on 45-year old Lorna Jean Dudash's door on June 15 to tell her that some neighbors had complained her music was too loud. Lorna had been drinking -- but wasn't drunk -- and was getting ready to go out. Instead of going out, after the cops left, Lorna dialed 911 to ask the dispatcher to send one of the deputies back because she thought he was "the cutest cop I've seen in God knows how long." She told the dispatcher that she did not have an emergency but that it was "not very often that a good-looking man comes up to your doorstep" and she wanted to meet him again.

She got to meet him again when he came back to arrest her. On Thursday, the Judge sentenced her to to two years' probation and 100 hours of community service. He also ordered her to pay $693 in fines and court fees. She had been facing a year in jail and a fine of more than $6,000.
"I think you need significant community service for the disruption you caused," [the Judge] told Dudash after she pleaded guilty to improper use of the 9-1-1 emergency system.

"People who are, oh, say, older than 7 know not to use 9-1-1 except when where is an emergency," the judge said.

"Obviously, you brought a great deal of attention to yourself," Hernandez said.

"I did, and I'm sorry for it and for wasting the court's time," Dudash replied. "I've pretty much paid my price for it, considering the media . . ."

Dudash said she did not know there was a law against misusing 9-1-1, but the judge said he was dubious, given her prior dealings with the criminal justice system.

Dudash is on probation for a hit-and-run crash in Washington, and previously was convicted of drunken driving, harassment and giving false information to police.
Lorna's 911 call was played all over town, area radio stations picked it up and she provided countless hours of entertainment to the fine people in and around Washington County. She says she acted impulsively, she got off easy and she's glad it's over. [The Oregonian]

The big question is, did she wind up getting that date? Inquiring minds wanna know!
