Landslide In Nepal Kills 17 Villagers, 13 Others Missing By VOA News 15 July 2006 A landslide has killed at least 17 people in northwestern Nepal. Another 13 people are missing. Authorities say a wall of mud Saturday swept over seven homes in a village about 125 kilometers west of the capital, Kathmandu. Officials say monsoon rain and flooding caused the pre-dawn landslide.
