Curt Schilling won his 10th game this season for the American League team, which has won all 12 victories in the streak against teams from the National League. Teammate David Ortiz hit a home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to seal the win for Boston - its third straight over the Mets. Other interleague winners Thursday include Pittsburgh, Oakland, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Toronto, Cincinnati and Seattle. In the only scheduled National League game, the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Chicago Cubs 5-4. Pittsburgh's Freddy Sanchez hit a game-ending home run in the ninth inning to give the Pirates a 7-6 win over the Chicago White Sox. The win snapped Pittsburgh's team-record 13-game losing streak. The Oakland Athletics beat the San Diego Padres 6-5 in 14 innings. The San Francisco Giants eked out a 2-1 victory over the Texas Rangers. The Philadelphia Phillies recorded a 4-0 shutout win over the Baltimore Orioles. Toronto pitcher Roy Halladay earned his 10th win of the season as the Blue Jays beat the Washington Nationals 8-4.
