KLM flight makes emergency landing on Eindhoven Airport June 23, 2006 Authorities were on high alert as a KLM Cityhopper flight from London made an emergency landing at Eindhoven Airport. The plane was forced to land with broken landing gear. During the landing, two tires broke and the plane was violently shaking. Four crew and 50 passengers were on board at the time. During the emergency, the airport was immediatly closed and emergency crews arrived within minutes at the scene. Twenty fire units were sent to the plane. The Ministery of Defense said no one was injured in the incident and an investigation is under way. Sources
