Unstable Situation in Israel/Palestine - Karni Crossing Opened and Closed http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/717529.html As the above postings respectively from today's Aljazeera and Haaretz indicate, the situation in Israel/Palestine is both unstable and rapidly shifting. Karni crossing to Gaza is essential for the export and import of foods. The threat of terror is again apparently trumping the basic interests of the peoples there.
