Tim Thomas scored a pair of free throws to seal the victory for the Suns, who took a 1-0 in the best of seven Western Conference finals. Diaw finished with a career-high 34 points, while Nash scored 27 points and had 16 assists. Dirk Nowitzki scored 25 points and grabbed 19 rebounds to lead Dallas.
