Bush Economic Policies Working: Poll Numbers Up

As I was driving around town today, I noted that gas prices have dropped some 20 cents in the past few days to around $2.76 a gallon. I also heard on our local news that the price of a barrel of crude oil dropped below $70, back to around what it was a year ago.

I also see that the Dow Industrial Average hit a 6 year high today of 2,323.90.

What I didn't see were stories giving George Bush credit for all this good news when I did Google searches. I doubt that many will be written.

I wonder how the Dems will spin these stories to try and make George Bush look bad?

But hope springs eternal; I just saw on Fox's Special Report that the latest Fox News/Opinion Dynamics Poll taken May 2-3 shows 38% of Americans now approve of Bush's job performance. That's a dramatic jump of 5 points from the poll taken April 18-19.

Maybe American are beginning to wake up to the reality that the President's and Republican economic policies are working.
