NIHAO MA! LEARNING CHINESE ON THE INTERNET Resources for Learning Chinese: CHINESE BEE.  Screaming across the cultural divide in China is tough enough without a grasp of the language, SO, whether the reason is to know thy enemy or to locate the facilities... Here is the first in a series of places to go on the Internet that provide FREE tutorials in the Chinese language. With Chinese being the fastest growing language on the planet now it couldn't hurt to learn a bit. I have a confession: This site was the only one that had useful phrases as well as words you are, um, likely to hear on the streets. Ms Yue has made me promise I will NEVER say a few of the phrases, from their small and adults only area, again... There is a new teaching system being offered soon on the Internet and I will tell you more about it soon. It involves, as I understand it, live tutors at a very resonable price. They will teach "Combat Cantonese" and "Combat Chinese Mandarin" for travellers and newcomers. I will have more for you soon--perfect for the new expatriate teacher in China!
