Hamas' idea of self-defense: Stretching credulity to its breaking point You know, like blowing up grannies or babies in buggies or anyone else who just happened to come strolling by the popular falafel bar when the demented teenaged bomber did his part for the glory of Palestine and Allah. (Hamas didn't pull off the attack themselves, by the way, but you can bet your sweet Koran they're tickled pink about it.) Do you get the gist of what Hamas is saying? The surprise bombing and annihilation of innocent civilians as they go about their daily business is a means of self-defense. This is the astonishing level of perversity that pervades what has become the death cult of Palestinian society. As justifications for mass murder go, the one Charles Manson gave for the Tate-La Bianca murders was certainly no less sensible than that of Hamas. But Charles Manson isn't running a government and Hamas is. Oh well. There's an expression that's been making the rounds for some time: "The Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity." They got the right to vote and the opportunity to improve their society and what did they do? Voted in a gang of psychotic murderers who will only prolong an utterly futile conflict. In the meantime, the country of Qatar announced it will give $50 million in aid to the Hamas government since the world's civilized countries have halted such aid because Hamas refuses to recognize Israel's right to exist. Qatar justifies it as "support for the Palestinian people." Talk about money down a rathole. Or more specifically, the crater left from a bomb explosion. As for the long-suffering Palestinian people, giving money to Hamas virtually guarantees their misery will continue. Can anyone imagine in their wildest dreams that anything other than more conflict will result from giving Hamas huge sums of money?
