Democrats promise to eliminate Osama bin Laden Urgent news alert: Congressional Democrats have promised to "eliminate" Osama bin Laden in an election-year security policy statement! Details are to come later, and lord knows the devil is in the details, but don't worry, we can trust them. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. and world-renowned terror warrior, said her party is providing a fresh strategy "that demonstrates that Democrats are the party of real national security." Sure, we can buy that. Just because hers is the party that wants to treat acts of terrorism like, say, bank robberies or any other crimes that require investigation, suspects and the appointing of attorneys . . . Well, that's no reason to doubt her party's sincerity or competence. Nor are their constant cries of "domestic spying" in regards to the president's authorization of eavesdropping on conversations between al-Qaeda and people in the United States, which they consider an impeachable offense. Nor are their constant harangues about mistreatment of terrorists at Guantanamo and comparisons to gulags and the world's worst mass murderers. Nor is the fact that if they'd had their way, Saddam would still be in power, the mass graves in Iraq would still be amassing, there would be no elections in Iraq nor would there be any particular push for democracy in the Middle East or the Muslim world. So, by all means, take them at their word that they know best how to deal with the global threat of apocalyptic terrorism. Just one question: On the off chance that the party of Pelosi isn't swept into the majority later this year, will she and her comrades still be good patriots and share their glorious counterterror and Osama-capturing strategy with us anyway? Excellant post. I am glad people are finally grasping the big picture with the Communist take over of Congress in the Demoicratic Party. The Socialists already have more of an in roads than they ought to. Their ideology goes against everything our Constitution stands for. So, why isn't it against they law for them to hold such a high position in our government? They can call themselves whatever they want; hide behind any half hearted effort to appear to support what's best for America. The bottom line is they still support the Marxists ideology and Communism. Enacting their ideals will be the down fall of America.
