CACHE SHORTAGE: GOOGLE DOES CHINA  It appears that most of U.S. Google's cache links are not accessible from a mainland computer. You can only access cache that is maintained on Google China--and that goes for image enlargement viewing as well. I have checked this on five ISPs, with several browsers from various locations and its seems to be the norm now on the mainland. So much for those improvements in information acquisition, aye Google? Yahoo!, despite its Chinese version being partially owned by China's Alibaba.com, appears to be unaffected. Here is an intersting link from Indiana University. It compares search results for words on Google China vs Google U.S..
