VIDEO: Dr. Schuller on Gay Marriage - "Heterosexual Marriage is More Excellent"

CLICK PICTURE TO VIEW VIDEO - RUNNING TIME ABOUT 1:30 MIN.

I saw this interview with the Rev's Schuller when it first aired and then noted it was rerun last night on Larry King. I've waited to see if there was going to be some uproar in the homosexual community about Rev. Schuller's comments on gay marriage. The silence is deafening.

Maybe someone can tell me why when he clearly states that heterosexual marriage is "more excellent" than homosexual marriage no one says anything, but when someone like Pat Robertson or Janet Parshall states a similar sentiment they get attacked relentlessly.

Dr. Schullers' comments, "I'm addicted to excellence...totally commited to excellence...and anytime there's a controversy choose the interpretation that is more excellent. And I feel that heterosexual marriage is the more excellent way..."

"...I'm not going to use my energy to promote the gay liberation movement because I don't want to talk somebody into a viewpoint that is less excellent..."

Can you support that second part of your question? Your post does very little to support your surprise. Though I do feel that the use of the phrase "more excellent" to be rather meaningless and kind of bizarre, I don't understand your indignation that no one complained.
