Election 2006 - the plan? Well, just remember these talking points. People are streaming over the Mexican border faster than water down the Rio Grande. They just found a tunnel complex near Tijuana, hopefully used just to smuggle drugs. So much for keeping our borders terrorist proof. Osama bin Laden, the only leader proven to have attacked the United States, is still free and making videos. While the Bush government continues to gather intelligence by every means possible, including torture, Condi Rice, the Secretary of State, states that she was caught off guard by the election results in Palestine. All that work, and we can't even do the job of a Gallop Poll? FEMA, the first response team for any terrorist attack, responded to its last emergency with a "duh . . . what?" The US Army has been failing its recruitment quotas, and experts have stated that the military is approaching its breaking point. Meanwhile, the supplies of body and vehicle armor are still short. Despite increasing amounts of intelligence work being done, legal or illegal, no increase has been made to the numbers or pay scale of the country's police, firefighters, or port inspectors. So, when the time comes, we'll know what they're going to do, but we won't have the people available to stop them. So, which part of fighting the terrorists are the Democrats incapable of, Mr. Bush? The incompetence, or the lying about it? The Small Town Hick also blogs at Observations of a Small Town Hick, Page 10 International, and any other blog that will have him.
