Denver Broncos Defeat Patriots in Postseason Play New England, who had hoped to see a third straight Super Bowl win and their fourth in 5 years, seemed to fall apart. The first half saw the Broncos giving Pats QB Tom Brady "a hard time." Two fumbles in the second quarter hurt the team as well. The Pats were down by 4 at the end of the third quarter, but another turnover in the form of an interception by Denver left the Patriots in a desperate state. They weren't able to recover, and a controversial interference call by the referees, coupled with a missed field goal by Adam Vinatieri, put the final nails in the coffin. Denver goes on to play next week in the AFC Championship. Blogger News Network is advertiser-supported, and your visits to our advertisers help BNN to meet its expenses.
