I am a freelance sports writer and have been covering the NHL and professional sports for over 15 years. I have written and reported for several publications and sports services, such as the NBCSports.com, The Fischler Report, PA (formerly ESPN) Sportsticker, and the New England Sports Journal. I have also written and published “Inside the NHL Dream” and other books on hockey and sports.
But my background in sports is extensive and goes beyond just being a sports reporter. I have had a first-hand look at behind the scenes from an administrative management point of view, which has also taken me inside the locker room re managing equipment and general manager duties.

I have several years experience working in both amateur and professional sports administration in hockey, baseball, and football. I was a volunteer with the Hockey Media Committee for the 1988 Olympic Winter Games, played a key role in junior football in Canada for 18 years, and was the first woman to headman a football conference in Canada as president of the Prairie Football Conference. I sat on the City of Calgary Sport Policy Steering Committee. As public relations director for the Edmonton Trappers Baseball Club, I worked closely with the California Angels and was responsible for overseeing game day operations, media liaison, staff, and community events.
My business also provides publishing support to authors, self-publishers, and companies that produce books to market their business, including annual reports. I help those who are time-stressed, have a passion for an idea, and want to leave a positive impact. I have authored, edited, and project-managed over 50 books for both royalty and self-publishers.
