		<description>It is exactly this "tit for tat" attitude that has taken our once great nation to new lows in politics, business and the media. Everyone has become so involved in keeping score between the political parties that the business of government has become the business of spin and accusation (not to mention re-election). When watching politicians these days, I am reminded of some "school yard" argument between six year olds.

American politics is about special interests and "cloaking" issues that distract the American people from substantive ones. Even the media gets in on the act by hyping emotional issues such as gay marriage and avoiding issues such as invading Iraq for WMD.

Whether it be slowing the release of a DVD or disenfranchising voters in Florida, we as US citizens all suffer. Maybe we should persecute the political system and not those that have a differing political ideology.</description>
