As Lake Mead water levels slowly slide below the intake valves, the fortunes of many stand to disappear. The future will be controlled by those who own the water, not the oil.
Heaven forbid a severe economic slide, or, a catostrophic disaster in America. The first city to be effected would be Las Vegas.
The common man/woman seems to be only slightly tolerated in Las Vegas anymore, it's the big bucks, the big kill, that establishments cater to. It's noticable, and it also will aid in the fall of Las Vegas.
It is easier, and, becoming more fun, to enjoy a short drive to a Riverboat, than to go through the hassles of Las Vegas.
The new Rental Car Center, and associated procedures, are sickening. Put travelers through hell, increase corporate profits.
Airfares continues to soar, regulations abound, security becoming lengthy and absurd.
True, friendly, customer service is extremely hard to find.
Las Vegas is so cool, soon, nobody will go there anymore.
