In regard to NIST report on WTC1 and 2 collapse. “[T]he impact of the planes severed and damaged support columns and dislodged fireproofing insulation coating the steel floor trusses and steel columns, which meant that the subsequent fire, which reached 1000 degrees Celsius, weakened the floors and columns to the point where they bowed and buckled, causing the towers to collapse.” The problem here, is jet fuel won’t burn at this high (1000 C) of temperature, and the same NIST report claims that no piece of steel was found to have been heated higher than 600 C.

I hate conspiracy theories. I suggest http://www.journalof911studies.com/ which seems to largely avoid them and focus on the evidence at hand in an open and scholarly way.

I will say, those are some interesting pictures of landing gear at the Pentagon. If those can be authenticated (you’d have to talk to the production staff of the TLC program, and the source of photographs) then the missile theory should be revisited. I didn’t see, however, any engines.
