I wonder after reading all the reviews how many of these commenters read his book??? Lou is not beefing up himself - he is telling readers exactly why America is failing and what we can do to get our great country back on track…don’t shoot the messenger - wake up and heed the warnings!

This guy is a joke and so is his show on CNN.
what I am really surpised by is that a channel like CNN would give this guy airtime to cough up absolute rubbish on any topic he discusses.

Yesterday was the first day I watched Lou Dobbs. He seemed like such a biased, fear-mongering idiot. I figured ‘perhaps it was just the topic’ and now watching again and it is clear… Lou dobbs is really out of touch. How did this guy get his own show? Who did he sleep with?

I can only take so much of this total loser. He just said the Liberal media picks on palin for any little thing she says, if you call not knowing what you’re talking about little, and they give Biden a pass.That is untrue, Sara Palin is a newcomer and has given a total 3 interviews versus what, 80 or 90 from Biden of course he is going to get a bit of a break, maybe if she would do more interviews she wouldn’t be looked at with a fine tooth comb.

Re Lou, he is not an idiot, he is more calculating/dangerous than that, he is a total rabble rousher. I just finished watching Lou Dobbs trash another guest because he didn’t adopt the opinion of Dobbs. I also watched him completely misrepresent Barack Obama’s position on John McCain as he does everyday. This guy is not an objective independent. He is an idiot. We are all dumber for listening to what he has to say. Shame on us.

I was just listening to the pompous blowhard on TV and his comments about the mortgage crisis prompted me to do a Google search using the key words “Lou Dobbs” and “Idiot.” Amazing what you can find on the internet these days!
An earlier comment stated Dobbs caters to the average American who doesn’t think carefully and likes to blame others - that characterization is SPOT ON. It’s this type of people who were irresponsible enough to forgo traditional safe financing options to try to get rich quick. Sure, mortgage companies and big government are also partly to blame, but anyone foolish enough to buy a house with no money down or make interest-only payments deserves the mess they’re in. No one put a gun to their head to pick the riskier option.
Life is all about making choices and those of us who choose correctly shouldn’t have to bear the cost of those who don’t.

I dont think Lou Dobbas is an idiot at all. He may stress the border situation more than anyone, but it IS a SERIOUS PROBLEM! Borders=Independence=Security (all obviously for the people on the proper side) and that all makes the US a nice and cozy place to be. Without borders, the coutry gets flooded with “new” citizens, our freedom goes, and our ecconomy goes to the scavengers. When that happens the middle class will disappear and jobs will be fought for Ameros, not $. And most people that don’t understand about the depth of this issue, the enemy that needs to be displaced are many in the US’ own cabinets that push to deteriorate our unique REPUBLIC!
