Maestro, I love Your music so much! For many years, it was / and is /the part of my life. The question, if a better moog player is Rick or Keith is really unnecessary. Both of You are great and both different. That is important for music. Not to look for any order!
Dear Keith, are You still playing Your piano concertos? If yes, will You be interested to finally visit Slovakia, where You never appear and play with our orchestras?
Hopefully we will hear You soon also here, not just at "around countries" -Austria, Hungary or so.
All the best, God god bless You for Your art!

Good interview. Ive seen Keith a number of times, a very down to Earth guy, no question. It brings to mind a disciple of his, a keyboardist by the name of Dan Pinto. I read an interview on Dan Pinto's website where he and Keith spoke together. There are photos posted and such. I believe that there is even an interview posted there on Carl Palmer. If interested, just do a search for the name Dan Pinto and you should find it with no truoble. After listening to Dan Pinto's music, it is interesting how he uses the hammond much the way Keith Emerson did, but yet he seems to make it his own with a jazzy more along the lines of fusion style. Really good stuff, check it out. They're all really good players.

I enjoyed reading the interview. Keith Emerson is the greatest I have ever heard and seen play the Moog. I saw ELP 24 times through the years. Missed Moogfest because I was in the hospital, also missed when he came through Boston for the same reason. I am anticipating his latest album and have enjoyed hearing his music since I saw a snippet of the nice on a PBS special way back in 1968, can't recall the show's name, but it had a number of British bands and The Nice was in it. Been hooked on Emerson ever since.

Keep up the good work. Also read your interview with another of my favorites, Rick Wakeman. He is such a talented musician, another I can not get enough of.

Enjoyed reading the recent interview of Keith Emerson. He mentioned his next album coming out in January? I hope it will be availiable at a nearby record store where I live. It seems they sometimes are limited to certain artist in my region. Mike Koskie.
