"Evangelicals" are a diverse group in both doctrine and politics, but the term  does NOT include many Catholic, LDS, or Pentecostal Christians, all of whom are different doctrinally. 

And half of those identifying themselves as "evangelicals" vote Democrat. Bill Clinton is an Evangelical, as is Jimmy Carter.</description>
