HILARY IS ACCUSSED OF NOT WORKING WITH THE PRESIDENT WE HAVE NOW, WHY SHOULD ANY ONEIN CONGRESS WANT TO NOT VETO EVERY BILL SHE TRIES TO WRITE. WHY SHOULD CONGRESS NOT WANT TO FOLLOWW IN HERDIVIDING THIS COUNTRY'S FOOTSTEPS, IN WHICH HILARY IS ACCOMPLISHING RIGHT NOW. ARE YOU TRYING TO GET HILARY ELECTED BY CONVINCING THOSE WHO MAY BE NOT AS INTUNED TO THE DIFFERENTS THE TWO POLITICAL PARTYS' STAND FOR AND POLOTICS THAT ALWAYS PLAY THE LARGER PICTURE. ARE YOU TELLING US THAT HILIARY IS TOTALLY AGAINST ABORTION BECAUSE SHE'S CHRIST LOVING? THIS HAS GOT TO BE A JOKE THAT SOME IDIOT IS EITHER BELEIVING A ONCE IN A LIFETIME HILARY STATEMENT AGAINST ABORTION. I will post a simple response as a practicing Roman Catholic: She "claims" to have returned to her Catholic Faith, if She did it was short lived... She just automatically excommunicated (Latae sententiae) herself by her statements and endorsement of Clinton. She no longer is in union with the Holy See and cannot receive the Body of Christ until confession and public denouncement of her position. Although she is not a politician she is using her popularity and the institution of the Roman Catholic Church as a marketing device although her statements directly contradict the teachings of the Faith. It tires me to see people hide behind their faith, in particular Roman Catholics. The faith is so clearly defined here that there can be absolutely no misunderstanding of Her teachings, to protest the teachings of the Church causes the protestor to excommunicate them self. Finally bishops, priests and deacons are starting to enforce the teachings and not allowing prodeath politicians to receive the Eucharist. So Anne, either practice another religion that has no trouble with your personal views or learn the Truth of your Faith and act accordingly. Once again Doug, glad somebody is getting the truth out there, if only Ms. Rice would read it :). Well written Doug!

I have always laughed at the paranoia about the religious right when it comes to Republicans but the lack of concern when every single major Democrat candidate goes to a huge freaking church in the South. Its generally reverse racism. A politician speaking to a church full of white people= bad but a politician speaking to a church where there is not white face in the entire building bar the candidate is good. I find overly religious people in support of both sides as activists a problem. Its an attempt to force their morality on me which I resent. Well the Democrats have their religious types and the Republicans theirs.
