Sorry, author, the fact that the Beatles were smart/lucky enough to quit whilst they were still solidly on top earns them many more solid kudos than the Stones. 

That, and their almost unassailably perfect canon of songs left in their wake, assures that a century from now the Beatles will be remembered as the Mozart and the Stones as their Salieri.</description>
