It's so refreshing to finally see a balanced and objective review of my book. Within the JFK assassination research community, there are basically two groups: (1) the Oswald-alone-did-it group and; (2) the someone-from-the-grassy-knoll-did-it group -- although that someone is both nameless and faceless. My book refutes both and proposes a new location, for which it has been attacked and disparaged by both groups. One example of this is the misrepresentation that my theory has already been disproven -- that the place I propose that the fatal shot was fired was just sunlight reflecting off of the head of Secret Service Agent Roy Kellerman. THAT IS NOT THE LOCATION PINPOINTED IN MY BOOK! I circled the area I contend the fatal head shot was fired from on pages 36 and 37 of the hardcover version of my book, and I certainly did not circle Roy Kellerman's head. Further, on page 31, footnote 22, I note that another author, Bill Cooper, mistakenly thought that sunlight reflecting off of Kellerman's head was a gun -- and the DVD Mr. Barrett refers to clearly shows it not to be.

Besides the photographic evidence presented in the DVD (of which I have no financial interest in whatsoever), my work is also based in part on the analyses of Dr. David Mantik and Dr. Charles Wilber. Dr. Mantik reviewed JFK's X-rays and concluded that the fatal head shot was fired from a point almost directly in front of JFK -- not from the grassy knoll and certainly not from behind him at the Texas School Book Depository. Dr. Wilber reviewed the notes of the surgeons at Parkland Hospital in Dallas (where JFK was driven after the shooting). Dr. Wilber concluded that these notes suggested that the fatal head shot was fired "by a handgun at close range." Put these two together and use a bit of deductive reasoning: the fatal head shot was fired by a hand gun at close range from a point directly in front of JFK. A simple review of the photos taken during the assassination and the Zapruder film clearly show that the only people at the time who were near JFK, in front of him and who probably would have had handguns were agents of the Secret Service. Then there was the Warren Commission testimony of eyewitness Austin Miller who testified that he thought the shots fired at JFK originated from within the JFK limousine. Approximately six people in the motorcade later testified that they smelled gunpowder seconds after their cars reached the point where JFK had been killed on Elm Street, again suggesting that at least one shot was fired at street level. The DVD by MPI then allows you to judge for yourself. Pay close attention to the "medium frames segment" and the activities that took place in frames 302-315 (the frame numbers are clearly depicted at the bottom of the film). Pay particular attention to the area between the two Secret Service agents near the dashboard and around the mid-seat level of the front seat. I think it rather clear that Dr. Mantik and Dr. Wilber were absolutely correct in their analyses.

Excellent review Simon!
Like most I'm a closet conspiracy theorist at heart. Well not really strange if you take into account that I come from Africa where the truth is mostly an alien concept.
I have read and watched numerous works on this topic and even with the grainy footage it was already clear that there was indeed more than one shooter.
I'm getting my copy of this book and DVD straight away.
Thank You.
