Actually, Hillary was a fairly good Senator…and as a first wife was the equivalent to a Presidential adviser. So she’s qualified

Her main problem is that she is not as nice as Bill…not as good at political wheeling and dealing…but presumbaly she’ll hire him to do this stuff.

The important thing is that she’s tough: I suspect the Islamofascists will dismiss her as a wimp and try something, and she’ll end up being the best war president the US ever had (as someone else has observed).

Good post. I believe this is the first time I’ve stumbled upon this blog.

I agree with many of your points on the qualifications for the anyone occupying the Oval Office. The yes-men need to go bye-bye, as do those not independent enough to not always follow the party line.

I do disagree with you about Hillary Clinton’s credentials, but, sadly, no one’s that much better anyways. In my opinion she is a political robot more and more who makes most all conservatives (center-right) in Europe look liberal or centrist. In addition her foreign policy views aren’t fantastic. Richardson looks like a good choice from a foreign policy standpoint.
