Umm...Mr. Kent, you seem to be unaware of a few minor facts.

One: The present Pope was automatically inducted into Hitler youth, he did not join and indeed he did not attend the meetings.

Second: your argument is based on the post sexual revolution assumption that sexual actions are amoral and no body's business, and indeed anyone who is judgemental is to be condemned.

The post sexual revolution ethic is a result of the separation of sex from it's ancient linkage with children and family ties. In the US and Europe, this separation is now almost complete and the nanny states has now replaced the family as the institution that supports the old, sick, and children. There are pros and cons about socialism, but as a feminist I do note that this mainly benefits men, since it allows them to deny responsibility for their children.

Three: most societies have rules that limit sexual behavior to marriage. By claiming this is a "catholic" thing, you ignore Confuscius, Islam, and Hinduism. This is not "prejudice" but like all "ancient" ethical rules, based on thousands of years of human experience.

You see, in countries without a "nanny state", it is the family that cares for you when you are sick or old or pregnant. So most bisexuals will marry, and their relationships outside of marriage are ignored.

So men wishing another woman will either go to official prostitutes, or have a mistress who they support, or marry a second wife. And bisexuals can have a boyfriend or go to male prostitutes. As for the 1-2% of people who are exclusively homosexual in orientation, there are often places on the fringe of society for them to live. For example, here in the Philippines, the third sex are laughed at but accepted...and the laws are mainly aimed at the the foreign pedophiles who prey on our street kids.

Yes, it is hypocritical, but probably better for kids than the US with women who live with one man after another while being supported on welfare.

(FYI: Statistics show 1-2$ of people are exclusively "gay" and another 8% are bisexual. A lot of the arguments on both sides ignore that bisexuals exist).
