It appears as if John Keene may suffer from "perceptual distortion". Otherwise known as "cop syndrome", whereas the afflicted(enforcement official) only see a certain segment of the population (worst cases) and assume they are representative of the entire population. He is right on about the H$U$ and PeTA, but so much time and energy spent investigating criminals has tainted his perception to the point at which he sees criminal activity even where it doesn't exist. That was evident in my phone conversation with him recently. Just because someone reads a murder mystery John, doesn't mean they commit murder.

And just because someone falls in love with medium sized, short haired, block headed dogs doesn't mean they intend to allow them to fight other dogs. Nor does ownership of the common items Wayne Pacelle and H$U$ have instructed law enforcement officials like John Keene to include in their "dog fighting" search warrants actually constitute evidence or intent. Sometimes things are what they appear to be...often, they are not. Just because someone calls themselves an "expert" doesn't mean that you should accept what they say as fact, without question.

"Maybe Mr. Pacelle should attach expiration dates to his quotes so the public knows when it is OK to stop taking them seriously."

Exactly! The HSUS has been saying since at least 2000, when I started investigating dogfighting and animal abuse full time, that there are 40,000 individuals in the US involved in dogfighting. Through my own experience I believe there could be 40,000 individuals in Chicago alone.

The MSM treat these humane organizations like they treat government officials. The MSM just prints whatever falsehoods they are given because the person they are quoting is an "expert".

This guy portrays himself as a wildlife expert? Where can I send my donation to preserve the habitat of wild tigers in Africa? Probably the same place I can contribute to the care of Vick's fighting pit bulls.
