(London, UK) British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has been urged to pave the way for state-of-the art SEN/Autism Academies by Ivan Corea, head of the Autism Awareness Campaign in the United Kingdom.
Autism is a neuro-developmental disorder, over 90,000 children are on the autism spectrum in the UK.
There are over 500,000 people with autism in the UK.
The Autism Awareness Campaign UK is requesting the Prime Minister to open SEN/Autism Academies. ‘Autistic Children deserve a world class education too, they must not be left behind,’ said Ivan Corea in London. The Autism Awareness Campaign UK haas been lobbying for better public serices in education, health, specialist speech therapy and respite care.
The UK Government is planning to open 400 Academies. Autism Campaigners are calling for better education provision for autistic children.

In Jamaica were I live does not incooperate these children. As aresult we have to try to find money to get a speech threapy to help our chilld. With the prayer, and tedious work with doctors and researchers and day acure may arise. Please inform me and all new developments. WE hope one day we can get assisstance from any company or individual overseas. Thank you God be with us all to cope and comprehend.
