…State sponsored plan to murder Editor Omar Bah Exposed!!!

List of Hydara’s Murderers to be released soon!!!
“Omar Bah was going to be killed even if he was arrested alive. Jammeh had sworn to it and he was going to do it. His saying that: “I have to set another better example”, was referring to Deyda. Yes President Jammeh ordered the killing of Deyda Hydara. He cannot deny what I am saying. We have it in record- giving orders, outlining how it should be executed. The taxi that they use will never be seen because it has long since gone out of service. Our own people put Deyda under surveillance but the killing was carried out by Jammeh’s killers. The names will be revealed online at the right time because as at now, very few people have access to the records I am talking about and mentioning names online now might be catastrophic.” These were the exact words of Serg PMJ a top official of Gambia’s National Intelligence Agency. Serg who selfstyled himself with such a pen name in this dispatch explained how Editor Omar Bah escapes death and the government’s involvement in the murder of journalist Deyda Hydara. Serg promises to release the names of Deyda’s killers later on, but had warned the implications of such a move, considering the regime’s paranoia and dictatorial tendencies. Serg said President Jammeh ordered for the killing of Bah as we as the late Deyda Hydara. Below is the full text of his report. Please read on…..

“I want him dead or alive. I thought they will learn a lesson but no. I have to set another better example. Idiots!” These were the words of President Yahya Jammeh while giving orders to the top echelon of the Gambia Armed Forces for the arrest of Omar Bah, former news editor of the pro-government Daily Observer newspaper at the Dark House. This was before Bah was declared wanted by the Inspector General of Police on June 1, 2006.

After this order by Jammeh on May 29, I also swear that if it happens, then all the trainings I received from the Mossad and CIA did not benefit me at all and I was going to resign all my commission and retire from the service. Now this is it- an order from a monstrous bloodthirsty dictator.

To start with it, when the Freedom Newspaper was hacked under the directives of President Yahya Jammeh, two lists of purported informers were submitted to us- National Intelligence Agency. Unfortunately, I was out of office at the time but was in the picture. I could not just ask whether a name Omar Bah was on the lists. If I do, I don’t think I would be able to piece this together. I saw him at the West Field junction that fateful day he fled the country but I cannot just neither identify myself to him nor warn him because I was yet to know whether his name was on the lists.
After arriving at the office, I did not rush to look for his name on the lists because personnel of our counter-intelligence wing were everywhere. After having the chance- Oh my God, there was his name. I was shock at first but have to act fast. That was how I was trained. I want to call him but that was not the best idea at the time. I have to monitor the situation. When the information reaches me that Jammeh has ordered for his arrest either dead or alive, I quickly called the Daily Observer. When I was told that he was in but stepped out, I left a message and the person at the receiving end asks who I am, I said “his best friend.” I immediately know that he is in the picture. I am not good in Mandinka and I may be wrong but there is a saying in the Mandinka that reads: “Fulo ning sobbo”, which if I am right means “Fula with suspicion.” This might be a joke but Fulas are always suspicious when something is about to happen to them. They are smart and I like them for that. The boy is intelligent and smart.
The rest I will skip for security reasons because I might find myself in the same situation again. But just to give a hint, he spent the rest of the day in an Internet Café around the Senegambia car park in Serrekunda. He can also attest to the fact that somebody nodded toward him and wink an eye at around 10:00 pm that night while he was in a van to Banjul. Where? I have to apologise once again to readers, I cannot say but a heavily armed army personnel were at the Denton Bridge in search of him. And you what, I sometime question myself whether Gambia have intelligent army personnel anymore because all the intelligent members of the army I know are either in incarceration or have fled the country. The present Gambian army is full of bullies who are nothing but a bunch of idiotic rubbish.
Anyway, I was at the Banjul Ferry Terminal waiting for him so that everything goes well. When I saw him, he seems worried but doesn’t care what happen to him. I saw him buying food and headphone. I was there until he boarded a ferry bound for Barra keeping my fingers cross that he makes it.
While there trying to figure out whether or not he will make it, I was informed that half a dozen men of the Gambia Armed Forces, heavily armed were led to his house in London Corner by our own operative who happens to be his neighbour. I was glad that he was gone. I quickly return to the office to take my position. The atmosphere there at the time was encouraging. Reports we receive was that the military did not find him in his house but they believe that he was still within the Greater Banjul Area because Kalaji said no person of his identity ever crossed there. I can figure out why they were not concern about the North Bank. Because many people who always try to escape from persecution uses the South Bank. I was always confident that he will make it and he did. Even a friend of his, who happens to be part of us called him and he told her that he was listening to Fula music in his house. When I was told, I nearly laugh. I never thought that the small boy can beat the entire Agency. Well not the entire Agency because I was not beaten.
Omar Bah was going to be killed even if he was arrested alive. The names will be revealed online at the right time because as at now, very few people have access to the records I am talking about and mentioning names online now might be catastrophic.
