I am reading this on March 20, and have just been reading all the blogs and newspapers and magazine writers who had written McCain off for dead in July. Very interesting. Since you refer to Fred Thompson a lot, I think you will find my article on exactly WHY Fred Thompson self-destructed, posted on www.jollyjo.com, interesting. By now, it's no longer "up" but in the archives. You might also enjoy the article on www.associatedcontent.com entitled "Thompson Trots Toward White House: Giant Trout in View," which has a picture of a giant trout apparently eating Fred's head. (I too it myself). As someone who attended 38 rallies in 13 days (in Iowa) and will cover both the RNC and the DNC, I must say I am the "political Kiss of Death." Pose with me and you immediately withdraw! That includes Fred, Edwards, Dodd and Biden. I missed Hillary (more's the pity) and now look!
