Living 20.5 miles away from the Quecreek Mine disaster/rescue site, but watched the scenerio unfold in New Jersey (where I was visiting when the disaster happened). I've visited it regularly through the years, and wrote a descriptive article on it in the Beanery Online Literary Magazine at www.ProBlogs.com/beanerywriters titled QUECREEK MINE RESCUE 5th ANNIVERSARY (filed in Carolyn's Writings). I wish them well for their fifth anniversary.
