Hey come on, folks, post some stuff. :)

In any event, everyone keep trying to look for the good in this wicked world. It's out there.

I read something just recently about a famous person who said they try to make three new friends every day. Great idea!

God is love! Spread it around!

And guest "hjmn4566" said it very well, as well. As a cradle Catholic, who went through the draconion and neurotic never-ending lists of sins in the Baltimore Cathechism, which also caused a neurosis in me as a youngster; these weasels who came up withi such mind-torture may very well be the same inside-the-church perverts.

I saw very little, if any, love espoused in the sin-seeking Cathecism books. Indeed I don't ever wish to visit Baltimore. The parish priest at the time was also a nut case. He was quite chummy with a youngster in our llttle town. And was otherwise a recluse.

What a nutty world! If God is love, where is it in this world?

Good article. Well-written. If a major corporation had a scandal like this, the FBI, SEC and other federal investigative agencies would be on it in no time. And the corporation's board of directors would fire the president/CEO immediately. However the bad guys in charge only resign when it gets waaaaaaaaaay to hot for them. So hot they can't stand the heat any more. Unfortunately, the foxes are in charge of the hen house. There are far more ethical and moral charities that need our support. The Salvation Army is high on my list. They help EVERYBODY. The Holy Roman Catholic Church needs to be investigated, from the very top to the smallest parrish. Ultimately, the Pope is responsible and the number one suspect.

Any member of the Catholic hierarchy that has contributed to the activities of felonous clergy should themselves be considered accessories to these crimes after the fact. Perhaps judicial process should be initiated against not only the individuals that committed these crimes against children but against their ecclesial superiors as well. Transparency means complete transparency not just monetary settlements.
