Actually the bottled water mentioned in this article: Bling h2o, sells in New York for $55.00 per bottle at custombeverages.com. Connoisseurs of water can very easily discern taste differences among different types of water, not to mention a broad array of other factors that affect taste i.e. mineral composition, bottling region, filtration process and much more.

Although bottled in Tennessee, the water inside the Bling h2o product comes from an award-winning source having won a Gold Medal from the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting Award. Moreover packaging does make a difference in price for any product. And Bling h2o packaging is no cheap matter to produce--perhaps one reason why we don't see most bottled products laced with genuine Swarovski crystals. Such purchases often come down to personal preferences. If one prefers to buy a higher end product say a silk dress vs. a cotton dress then one will obviously pay the difference in price. So why not pay the money if you've got it, it makes you happy, and you want it. Part of it is also just the nature of the beast in the luxury market where everything costs more whether one personally agrees with that fact or not. And a little splurge won't hurt anyone if they can afford to do it. Hey life is too short not to enjoy it while we've got it. I'd recommend readers to: The Taste of Water by Arthur von Wiesenberger. Although written in 1996, it very much points to how to taste water and differences in taste.
