I’ve had the privilege of knowing Gerrie for many years, and I actually have a photo of him and me, with Joe Slovo taken many years ago when we were both still beginnig to be in our prime. As for the comments above, I think that the much used profanity tells us what there is to know about the level of intelligence, which was always a problem with the SADF. They used profanity to make up for the lack of proper vocabulary. As for the comment on Gerrie having to visit you in order to provide you with the opportunity to ring his neck, I would like to extend you the opportunity to visit him in Sweden, but once again, you might still be in the military and thus not earn enough to go there. But back to Gerrie, because, please,,we’ve all had enough of the old apartheid SADF and their so called command structure: I’ve always found Gerrie to be a down to earth, shoot from the hip, type of guy. The problem with most people is, that the truth hurts! Gerrie told it like it was…and how HE did what he did. Perhaps he enjoyed a sexual encounter with somebody close to you? And maybe that’s what pisses you off!! Best of luck Gerrie…you did good. I wonder whar these blokes will say when I publish my book “Soldiers of Hope”????

What utter “Wank”

This guy was dismissed - well actually as an “officer” he absconded - from the armed forces of South Africa.

He had a drug and alcohol problem. He was also caught with his fingers in the proverbial “petty cash tin”

He was an amoral “rogue” who was more interested in screwing his best mates wives and drinking copious amounts of alcohol, than doing his duty towards the SADF, and was for this very reason given 24 hours notice by Brig Serfontein to get the fuck out of Sector 10.

I know what I am talking about, as I inherited the legacy of his un-focussed “leadership”

I had his prick of an NCO father calling my office to speak to him and demanding my name when I answered the phone!! When I refused to provide him with this he went off on a tantrum of abuse and insults…. much as his son is doing today.

I concede that he has always exhibited the art of creative writing, (His handwriting is beautiful and resembles that of a girl - maybe he is the “proverbial” in a male chassis.) (”N FOKKING MOFGAT GERRIE - MITS JY NOG AFRIKAANS VERSTAAN!) which is why he was accused by Cmdt Gerrie Bornman of feeding HQ with “Conrad Brand Stories” and resulted in him being relieved of his command in Oshakati (the first time, before he was caught out fuckking Kassie Borstlap’s wife, Irma), and me taking over from him.

His creative “flair” is probably evident in his latest book, but to give the wanker his fair due, I will first purchase and read it…

But definitely “Dodgy Gerrie” for shure!!!!!
