		<description>Hmm! Living in the North of England, I have to agree with everything you say-apart from the father Ted thing-. If we were a different colour, the behaviour and attitude of the South of England to those in the North would be called racism. As it is, we just have to put up with it.

Imperialism was a purely London/Southern based phenomenon and we in the North were looked down upon and exploited  in a similar way.
