If you want to quote the Congressional Budget Office then at least have the decency to explain what a budget surplus or deficit is according to Washington. The way Washington's math works: this year we spent 2 trillion dollars, next year we expect to spend 3 trillion dollars. What happens is next year they spend 2.5 trillion dollars and then tell us they cut to deficit by 1/2 a trillion dollars. No wonder we have corporations like Enron. As the author of the article pointed out the war funding isn't even figured into the budget, nobody anywhere in this country could give an accurate figure on the countries true economic state.
Bush certainly is not a fiscal conservative, having said that nobody on the Democratic side is either. Raising taxes or repelling tax cuts will not pay down the debt if the government continues to increase spending on pet projects and social programs. If the founding fathers had wanted social programs they would have created them when the country was founded. Until we get representatives in Washington that is serious about reducing debt it will never happen. As it is the rich will continue to get richer and everybody else will continue to wallow in debt. Maybe the press will start reporting the facts instead of opinions and the American people can make informed decisions and get rid of the self serving do nothings in Washington that are supposed to be working for us the American people.

How stupid can you be Mr. President, you don't have the power to print money! Enforce the laws comply with the request of U.S. Congress for information and reinstate the rights of U.S. Citizens and the money will be turned back on. No need to impeach! Just comply with the U.S. Constitution, if you can't read thats ok have some one read it to you!
