There are products being sold everywhere [internet.classifieds, garage sales, etc.] that do not conform to safety standards!!!
I was constantly searching websites to make myself aware!!!
That was until I joined totalrecallinfo.com!!!
They alert me daily about recalls worldwide. No longer must I sit at my screen for hours.
Although you may think CPSC, NHTSA, etc. has you covered, nothing could be farther from the truth.
Not only do they make you aware of daily recalls, they offer 1 on 1 service, for hard to find recalls...
For the month of July, totalrecallinfo.com would like you to compare our weekly list, to what you can remember hearing about...Use ''preview'' as username and password to see recent recalls...
Not only do they cover consumer products, vehicles, atv's, etc. but also food, drugs,etc...
KEEP YOUR FAMILY SAFE, 1 DAY AT A TIME

Well, Jan, I can definitely empathize. I've had enough food poisoning and dysentery to get my own wing at Walter Reed, but I don't think I'd let one bad experience with healthy alternatives scare you off. I always worry about the amount of sugar my family jams into its collective pie hole, so we make a lot of stuff on the dehydrator. We also happened onto Flat Earth snacks which everyone seems to like and (knock wood) no salmonella yet...

Thanks for the note :)

Oh my gosh! I do remember getting sick a few days ago and buying Veggie Booty a few days before that! I'm outraged! I thought that Veggie Booty would be a nice snack alternative to Potato Chips and Popcorn. I thought it would be a healthy change to my life and get me off junk food. I had already gone a diet last year and ever since then I've been working toward a healthy lifestyle. Ok, I'm not a gymnist and I do admit I like a daily indulge in some sort of sweet or coffee drink, but nothing extreme. I still try to cut out what infraction I can in my diet every now and then. I was looking around in the store and saw Veggie Booty. Why not buy it? It's healthy, low carb, and even contains vegetables. I ate it right away. The taste wasn't anything to get me leaping off the couch about, but it was semi addictive and I ate about 1/6 of the bag. A little while after I suddenly found myself disgusted with it. I assumed that it was because I had consumed far too much and that it would look splendid again tomorrow---but to no avail. I found that something was stopping me from eating it. I even felt guilty that I was abandoning this for just another junk-food craving. About three or four days later, I discovered something ausome: Melted Marshmellows. Mmmm...they were de-lish. Not the healthiest thing but still pretty good. Later that evening however, something awful happened and I got the worst stomach ache whilst over with my fabulous neighbors. I ran home and well....let's just say that was a very painful hour in my life. Luckily, it all ended and I went back to my neighbor's house to continue a grand evening. The only thing was...I couldn't figure out what had caused my stomach ache. I assumed it was the marshmellows. They weren't expired and there was no recall on marshmellows. I was still craving them so I got up the courage to make 2 more melted marshmellows the next day. No stomach ache. I was wrong to blame my melted marvels. They didn't do anything. The rest of the food I ate that day was fine and normal. I couldn't figure out what had done such destruction to my stomach...until today. Veggie Booty. As soon as I heard about the recall I ran to the pantry and disposed of that so called "healthy snack". Healthy?! YEAH RIGHT! Just ask my poor stomach about how healthy that junk is. Hmph. I learned my lesson all right. From now on I'll only trust local food items...Items that I eat everyday. I no longer feel guilty about a melted marshmellow or chocolate indulge. In fact, I heat those marshmellows proudly!!!
