We have 2 females that are a big part of our family. They are wonderful dogs that are a perfect addition to any dog lovers family. We are only appoximately 20 miles from the Bradford Area. We, like so many others, would have gladly helped these animals. That a person could do this to these fantastic dogs is truely sick. She deserves the treatment returned to her!!!! One phone call would have placed these dogs in a safe place to live - not be starved to death in a truely cruel way that no animal deserves! We were planning on taking our dogs to the hearing on 8/8/07. We have been told that it has been rescheduled to 9/5/07. If any one has more information on this hearing change please forward it to us. It seems obvious as to why! Obviously these are things these so-called "responsible" or "reputable" breeders don't want seen It is time for the AKC and truly responsible breeders to support basic rules and regulations for breeders, including inspections. MS. Magnotta could have reached out to any number of rescues and shelters for help. Nailing animals shut in a building is beyond excusable. Our rescue is one of many hoping that Ms. Magnotta is found and prosecuted by the court for the unbelievable cruelty these gentle giants must have endured.
