There are countless personal tragedies going on resulting from statins. My husband's memory, competence and quality of life has been destroyed by being force-fed these drugs for the past year. To me, this is akin to attempted murder by GPs in thrall to the pharmaceutical companies & I would gladly take part in a national public debate on the ethics of this issue.
